Contributions are organized as "tiers". Each tier has a specific contribution amount and grants particular perks. You can select one of the tiers or at any time enter a custom amount. The custom amount places you into the closest tier. Over time, you can cross into different tiers, which open up further perks. Upon your first contribution, you are granted membership. This gives you your own little corner in which you can see how much you have contributed, the perks you are receiving, and the next advancing tier and its perks. While directly purchasing a story is not a contribution, it will still count towards your contribution total and help you advance to the next tier. This model gives you the option to be more involved in the process and progress of the film and to have more insight into how your contributions are used.
